Zie je nog komen als onbekend jongetje op het Leidseplein. Je mocht de lichten bedienen naast DJ Alex van Oostrom.Je kende hier niemand,maar je voerde al wel je act op. Dan verscheen je weer in marinierspak en dan weer je gezicht voor de helft wit en de andere helft zwart. Tot jezelf achter de DJ tafel mocht en de grote doorbraak kwam met Hour Power. Je hebt altijd durf en lef gehad en getoond waardoor je zo ver gekomen bent en mensen die zeggen dat je door je bekendheid een grote mond hebt gekregen,die kan ik uit de droom helpen. Beste Vany jouw muziek is als jouw leven, altijd met een goede vibe. Zoals jij altijd opgewekt en gastvrij bent en leuk vindt om met mensen om je heen te zijn! Als iets wat minder gaat kom je er altijd sterker uit.

“That”s the way love is” by Ten City,Mallorca El Arenal brings back a lot of memories ……..I met Vandy in Riu Palace where he was playing his music,and I must say:It was not love at first site,but after a few days being around his charmes, I loved the guy.He broke my heart after a time like only a man can do with a girl of 21 years old and out in the real world for the first time.We stayed friends and I had the honour to be around him and his family for a couple years, and than moved on.Vandy spread his wings, always reaching for the better,greater and bigger in his music and personaly also.He is a man with a great heart,and has lots off love to give and till today still my friend,and I`m very very proud of what he become and where he stands for.
Love you dearly,and thanks for the love we shared.

Mijn opa speelde in een orkest en heeft een keer prive voor mijzelf gespeeld en vanaf de eerste noot voelde je angst maar je bleef luisteren.Bij jouw muziek voel je dat niet, wel andere emoties van rustig tot toppunt!Maar je wilt wel alles horen en je kan rustig nadenken over van alles.Weet niet of je daar over gaat schrijven: ik zou het niet kunnen een boek schrijven succes ermee.

Long time ago as a dedicated client of Iran Air, you used to come to the office to get tickets to Tehran on regular basis. Got to know you better and became friends, attended to some of your parties and enjoy your fun character, crazy in a nice way, my Wooli brother. Your heart is at the right place otherwise you would not be able to make music the way you do. You have that kick ass tempo in your music which is really Vandy, however you have cooled down a little and your music is moving to another, higher level. There is not a specific track that reminds me of you, but the manner you put the music together, your signature !

[2] Positive vibe! Many memories, but two strong memories that comes up; one when we drove down from Zagaleta to Olivia Valere in the big Hummer (you were driving), which were a crazy fun trip. Felt like we were 15-20 people in the car. Another one was when you were playing at my restaurant/bar in Stockholm (Sophie’s Bar), and after when you “stole” my turntables for the afterparty at Grand Hotel. Great night!
